In this ecosystem, the expansion of innovation centers, innovation factories, creative houses and the development of innovation zones requires having a smart city so that we can move Tehran towards a city of innovation and becoming smart.

The Deputy Minister of Science and Technology continued: "I must announce that fortunately Tehran in the ranking of the world's innovative cities, this year climbed two ranks compared to last year and was ranked 41st and above the cities of Berlin, Barcelona and Istanbul."

Sattari emphasized that in this period we should develop creative and innovative companies in the city so that the municipality of Tehran as a sponsor oversees innovative companies, said: these companies should enter the problems of the city from their existing potential to solve problems.

The head of the knowledge-based economy culture headquarters also said: "The main part of our activities is in the technology sector, and in Tehran we already had several special projects such as localization of subway cars and electric buses, 85% of which are now localized and are to be completed in this period." Make a big deal with an in-house collection of wagons from knowledge-based companies.

According to him, electrification of city cars is another measure of Tehran Municipality, including electric buses, electric motorcycles, electric taxis and hybrids, which are currently working in the scientific department, examples of which are being tested. it is ready. The municipality of Tehran must move in a direction that creates diversity of income and not only generate income through the issuance of construction permits and housing, but also be able to earn money from social innovations.

 The municipality needs a new look

Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, said: "In the municipality, we need a new look to be a model for other cities and to be able to create a transformation with the same mindset." This transformation has been achieved on the basis of an Iranian-Islamic identity and justice, and it is widely observed in the city of knowledge.

 He continued: "Based on this view, we have a number of powers, facilities and needs that we provide to a set of creative and knowledge-based companies." Municipal authority will be sought in a new form of urban identity. Facilities should also be based on the development of these creations in the city, such as discussions on the creation of an innovation fund, the establishment of factories and creative and innovation houses.

 Zakani said: "We have many needs in the municipality that we can build based on Iranian products and meet them innovatively and creatively." For this purpose, in the form of a joint committee, we should have a meeting with our colleagues in the Vice President for Science and Technology every season and decide on the necessary results and measures.
